Zen & the Art of Video Game Patience is the second segment of 10th episode in season 3 of Harvey Street Kids. Episode title refers to the presentation Zen and the art of Motorcycle maintenance.
Synopsis[]
Audrey wants to defeat Zoe in a video game to prove that she is better than her and because the first bet a collectable frog from Crush 4 You.

The girls search the trash where Lotta finds a limited edition J-Frog frog. Audrey meanwhile, says the tires distract her from her quest, which hits one of them revealing an arcade fighting game called "Street Magic Battle 2". Richie, wearing one of his socks with a plug makes the machine turn on. Audrey chooses the characters among them Ram-Ram, who she loves because both use thunder as a symbol. Said game has a life bar symbolized by crystal balls.
Audrey therefore, imagines herself in the video game as Ram Ram, where she is against Buggin Bunny, where she manages to destroy one of his crystal balls. Audrey responds with electricity attacks, smashing buttons, winning the round, and continues to play for a while, evidenced by Dot's tired face. Zoe arrives on the scene and mocks Audrey while she is also looking for collectable items from Crush 4 You, and wants Lotta's frog. Audrey tells her that she is the best in this game, to which she notices that Zoe has a better score than Audrey, which Zoe presumes.
Zoe therefore challenges Audrey to a two-player battle, where they bet Lotta's frog and do the chores for a week. Richie tells them that they can negotiate something better in an attempt to curb the rivalry, to which Audrey ends up betting. Zoe plays with Maggie Mental, Audrey attacks, but Zoe tells her that the trick is to fill the cauldron while standing to unleash more powerful moves. When Zoe was about to defeat her, the machine breaks down, where Zoe and Audrey continue to insult and growl at each other, and Richie separates them looking for a more peaceful solution. Considering that he still see them in that state, Richie sets out to buy a new arcade to finalize their dispute.
Zoe says she doesn't need to practice and is the best at what she does, all while dancing away. Audrey replies that she will win, to which Dot refutes her. Audrey then remembers Zoe doing the victory dance, implying that she beated her in checkers, getting ice cream, and sibling fights. Audrey regrets not being able to win, to which Richie thinks the same because it will be impossible for them to find an arcade of that obscure game from 1996. Richie asks Irona, who has a network of contacts of people and machines that can help him find a seller.
Lotta tells her that when she was little she was a fan of this video game, so the scene changes inside an ice cream parlor of the Boulevar Harvey where Lotta was trying to climb the machine trying to play. Lotta, self-conscious about not being able to do so, studied the game manual, where she says that the key is patience. Dot tells her that Audrey is generally not patient, to which Audrey tells her that it is not true, only to contradict herself and throw a tantrum waving her arms asking where Richie is. At the girls' HQ, Lotta explains that her goal is to destroy the opponent's crystal balls, where if she doesn't move or attack, the cauldron recharges faster, giving access to a special attack using a special key combo.
Lotta tells her to be patient by pressing the buttons in at the arcade, which Dot uses as a disguise. But Audrey, without listening again, presses the buttons in a hurry. Lotta does another exercise where she tries to stay still, which Audrey cannot. Lotta tries to get her to do a thumb fight against Dot, which defeats her without starting the game, implying that Audrey is still impatient. Richie tells the girls that he collects vintage games like a rod and hoop saying that if he finds the 90s games, fun, he will find the games of the past millennium fun too. Richie also takes advantage of bringing the arcade, which several of his Dap-O-Tron robots bring to the scene, with Audrey boasting that she is already patient.
The scene changes to Richie's platform in the sky mansion, which is assembled like an arena. Where several harvey street kids and tertiary characters are present. Audrey arrives with her group and Zoe arrives with hers. Richie begins to reproduce the event on the screen sharing the screen to the public and Lotta tells her that although she did not fully train with the manual and patience, she still can win.
In the video game, Audrey is anxious and attacks Zoe, however Zoe fills the cauldron faster by standing still. Zoe attacks her with the special attack, removing two of her three crystal balls. Zoe was about to launch an attack until Audrey tells her she is going to give up, however, it was a trick to get her overconfident and fill her cauldron. So she defeats her with her special attack, Dot congratulates her and Audrey says she couldn't do it without her gurus. Zoe therefore grabs her by the ponytail, saying that she is an impostor since the Audrey she knows is not patient. Zoe continues to do a tantrum because she notices her sister still being calm. Stu and Maria to avoid embarrassment, remove Zoe from the arena while she continues complaining about the incident. Audrey shakes her head in condescension and the episode ends. In the credits the viewer can hear the song "The time is always Nice O'clock" from the previous episode.

Goofs[]
- At minute 12:30, Audrey cleans the arcade title, however, in the previous scene the area was already cleaned and exposed.
- There is no explanation why Lucretia did not go to the park's dump considering that she is a big fan of both Harvey Girls and Crush4You.

- Ruberb, Lotta's pet red panda in "Nine to Harv" makes a cameo as a playable character
- Considering how the names are pronounced, "Buggin Bunny" and "Dombledorff Psychout" appear to be references to Bugs Bunny and Dumbledore respectively.
- Apparently the level where Audrey and Zoe play is located in Russia, considering the place where originates Ram Ram's lightning beam.
